yoga basics
The benefits of yoga are infinite, and sometimes it can feel daunting to come into a class that has mixed levels of students. Yoga basics classes continually re-visit the basic postures and sun salutes with step-by-step instruction for all levels. This class is geared toward beginners but even the advanced student will discover new information about yoga alignment and philosophy in these informative classes. All classes are ongoing with no start or end date.
vinyasa flow & gentle flow yoga
"Flow" classes are classes that take the basic yoga postures and flow them into a carefully balanced sequence of using the rhythm of the breath. Using basic sun salutations as well as creative posture combinations, flow classes will energize the entire body and mind by creating cardiovascular and muscular endurance, flexibility and joint mobility. All yoga classes also incorporate yoga philosophy to challenge the mind and help reduce stress.
Vinyasa Flow classes will move at a faster pace than gentle flow classes, and frequently incorporate arm balances, inversions and advanced variations, but but modifications are always given. Some experience is recommended for Vinyasa Flow classes. All levels are welcome in gentle flow classes.
yogalates
A mix of Yoga & Pilates... Yogalates is a relaxing yet invigorating class that combines core-conditioning Pilates exercises with yoga, meditation, breathwork, and relaxation techniques. The best of both!
barre fusion
BARRE Fusion classes are high energy, mid to low-impact, fat burning workouts that incorporate the principles of ballet, Pilates and yoga. Using barre and mat exercises plus small weights, balls and bands, you will gain cardio strength, sculpt your arms, legs and core, and improve flexibility.
THIS IS NOT A TRADITIONAL BALLET BARRE CLASS - YOU DO NOT NEED TO BE A DANCER to take and enjoy this class.
fusion
Fusion classes combine the core strengthening exercises of Pilates with the full body movements of flow yoga. Fusion is a relaxing yet invigorating workout. Breathing, gentle inversions and savasana (final relaxation) will be taught in this 75 minute class. The best of both!
tight a*%! yoga
Yoga can be a lot of things - THIS class is meant for those who are REALLY tight. We are talking can't touch your knees, can't bring your arms over your head without that pulling sensation. Even just once a week, this 75-minute stretch-out, relaxation inducing class will improve not just your flexibility, but your overall health!
kids yoga
Studies show that the ancient discipline of yoga has the same benefits for kids as it does for adults. Yoga for KIDS classes are re-designed with kid-friendly poses performed in an upbeat atmosphere that boosts strength, flexibility, concentration, coordination and self-esteem. Ages 4-10 years.
kundalini yoga
Kundalini Yoga is the "Yoga of Awareness" an ancient, specific system involving classic poses, coordination of breath with movement, sound/chanting and meditation. This powerful and active style of yoga is effective for strengthening and balancing the nervous, glandular and immune systems, as well as, increasing mental energy and developing a deep inner calm. Kundalini Yoga produces quick results and is excellent for stress reduction, healing depression and insomnia, breaking bad habits, weight control and so much more.
restorative yoga
Restore & rejuvenate with this wonderful class geared toward stretching, relaxation and rejuvenation.
thai yoga
Combine relaxing poses with assisted stretching in this all levels stretch class. A great compliment to any fitness regiment. ALL LEVELS
hatha yoga
A practice of yoga that emphasizes specific poses in combination with controlled breathing. Hatha promotes and maintains healthy functioning of the body and induces mental calmness.
yoga men
Yoga is an excellent cross training tool for athletes because it not only strengthens the muscles near their attachments at the bones, but it increases flexibility and generates balance between right and left, front body and back body, as well as upper body and lower body strength. All of these things create bodies that are more supple and less prone to injury. Add to that breath work for increase respiratory efficiency and the mental focus that meditation offers and you have the perfect complement to any sport or activity.

Each week this MIX class will blend all styles of yoga offered at CENTER: kundalini, restorative & flow. This combination class is open to all levels.
