You might associate kettlebells with traditional weightlifting and dumbbells, but this simply is not the case! While many exercises can be done with a dumbbell, the nature of kettlebells (largely due to the unique shape of the handle) offer a much more dynamic workout. Kettlebells force you to use more stabilizing muscles in the core as well as the small muscles around the joints to keep the bell balanced through the movement. You will also be working the targeted muscles through a longer range of motion which means longer, leaner and more flexible muscles.
In addition, kettlebell exercises require the entire body for almost every move which creates and an incredible fat-burning workout. Kettlebells are challenging and taught in a fun atmosphere - there is no other workout as effective or efficient for increasing strength and endurance quickly.

Kettlebells will teach you all the basic exercises with a fun, hands on approach to postural correction. A slower pace with less "choreography", kettlebells is a great class for anyone wanting to simply and effectively work on strength, flexibility and cardiovascular endurance. Learn the essential exercises in an upbeat atmosphere. The class will focus on proper form and work through exercises at a slower pace. You must take this class at least ONCE in order to attend other KB classes.

KETTLEBELL PLUS CORE classes are different than traditional weight lifting because the focus is still on building long, lean muscles rather than on building bulk. By bringing the precision and anatomical focus that traditional Pilates entails to your work, we will build greater functional strength, endurance and cardiovascular fitness. KETTLE/CORE classes will also include STOTT Pilates matwork for a complete workout.

KETTLE/CORE classes are different than traditional weight lifting because the focus is still on building long, lean muscles rather than on building bulk. By bringing the precision and anatomical focus that traditional Pilates entails to your work, we will build greater functional strength, endurance and cardiovascular fitness. KETTLE/STRETCH classes will also include THAI STRETCH components to leave you feeling relaxed and rejuvenated.

Wake up with a workout! This class will incorporate core exercises with KB's, stability balls, flex bands and more. Cardio & strength training in ONE!
kettlebell classes
CENTER instructors teach kettlebells with a pilates-focused emphasis on alignment and hands-on correction during classes. All kettlebell classes are taught in an on-going format.
