Jamie’s on-going evolution and journey toward health and fitness have influenced her Yoga teaching & Fitness training style and philosophy. Jamie strives to help clients at any level feel accepted, supported, and safe as they gently begin to explore movement and postures-(Asana) within their bodies. Her teaching style encompasses the 8 fold path of yoga, through the incorporation of meditation, philosophy, and breath work in many of her classes. She also attempts to help students raise self awareness and build confidence while exploring their health and well being in mind, body, & spirit. Her main objective in teaching & training is to teach a healthy & fit lifestyle, & to share yoga’s ancient wisdom in a fun, welcoming, and enthusiastic way. She strives to guide others toward growth & optimal health, through Yoga, Guided Meditation/Relaxation Sessions & Nutrition Guidance, & Personal Fitness Training. During the spring of 2010, through intensive study at Yoga North, Jamie received her 200hr level Yoga Alliance Teaching Certification in the style of Hatha Yoga. She has been an instructor for CENTER in Grand Rapids & Hibbing, MN since that time.
On November 15, 2012 Jamie Received Her Personal Fitness Trainer Certification from the International Sports & Science Association.
