CHRISTINA has been a student of movement since she first began dancing when she was a young girl. After graduating from St. Olaf College with her B.A. in Dance and Economics, she moved to New York City with her husband and immersed herself in yoga and Pilates, immediately realizing this would be part of her life path.
In her classes, she fluidly combines her love of dance, music, and on-going study of anatomy to guide students to a deeper presence and body awareness. She believes in the power of hands-on adjustments to teach students how to align the breath with the body in fun & and empowering style. She thrives on making each and every class unique and informative through intelligent sequencing and an emphasis on teaching the fundamentals of alignment and body awareness. By incorporating these various practices into her personal training sessions she creates fun, well-rounded and powerful practices for increased strength, flexibility and body awareness.
Outside of the studio, Christina also teaches modern dance and creative movement instructor at the Reif Center for Performing Arts and Itasca Community College. She has a dear husband and two boys, Ian & Gavin, who keep her on her toes!
Christina is recognized as an e-RYT (experienced Registered Yoga Teacher) and has been STOTT Pilates certified since 2001. In 2008 she completed her level 1 Thai Yoga Bodywork training and most recently trained in Kettlebells.
